Summer 2022 Highlights
Our first summer enrichment program is in the books! We focused on Math and Reading, Social and Emotional learning (SEL), and Spiritual foundations. We feel confident that our kids returned to school this fall favorably impacted having recaptured some of the learning loss that has been so prevalent during the pandemic.
Thank you to our super star team of Junior staff, our gracious donors, and our heroic parents. Together we secured a program of learning and discovery for underserved children and youth

Impact is Important
Without high quality early childhood intervention, an at-risk child is :
more likely to become a teen parent
more likely to be placed in special education
more likely to be arrested of violent crime
And If an at risk child is not reading at grade level by 4th grade, they are fifteen times more likely to drop out of school.
Our Program Provides
20 minutes of AR reading each day. Homework help with a 1 to 2 tutor/student ratio. Book Clubs. Summer Internships. Weekly Arts and Craft. A hearty snack/meal daily. Weekly bible lesson, memory verse, and word of the week. SEL trained staff. Recreational fun. Safe environment.
Free Junior Golf Lessons (through our partner program: D.Kelly Inner-City School of Golf), Parent Support. Quarterly Family nights. Monthly parent meetings. AR Goal and monthly birthday parties. STEM activities. Reading and Feeding summer initiative. Community speakers. Workshops, and so much more.
